C2 has been awarded a Platinum Medal by Global Sustainability Ratings Agency, EcoVadis - C2 was in the top 1% of 85,000 companies assessed worldwide.

The EcoVadis sustainability assessment methodology is at the heart of their Ratings and Scorecards and is an evaluation of how well a company has integrated the principles of Sustainability/CSR into its business and management system.

Commenting on the announcement Mark Saxby, Executive Director, said, ‘We believe this is such an important award in many ways but especially as we are passionate about our planet. We achieved some very high category scores including 80% for Environment.’

As part of this, C2 has issued an eBook called, C2 a Greener Planet, a guide for planning sustainable meetings & events.

C2events Founder and Executive Director, Cheryl Clarke said, ‘We also achieved a score of 80% for Ethics which is a true recognition of how we run the business.’

Commenting on the Award, Katie Bennett, Operations Manager said, ‘It was a very thorough process that was conducted as part of the review and lead to several process improvements that we have incorporated into the business.’
