Why it’s good to support Post Graduates In today’s competitive and multi-faceted Events industry, its often difficult for Graduates to get their first job and gain that all important experience and to understand the different aspects of the industry.

The C2 Internship Programme has been developed in conjunction with Huddersfield University who are part funding the scheme in return for it being open to one of their graduates. Essentially it is similar to ‘work experience’ for a 10-week paid for period with activities ranging from shadowing team members to supporting them team with duties.

We recently interviewed and hired a Graduate from Huddersfield, Shirley Butler, who was completing her finals and looking for an Events Company to gain work experience. 

Katie Bennett from C2 who organised the Programme and interviewed candidates said, ‘We were really impressed with Shirley. In addition to her academic achievements, she worked as a Student Liaison and Events Assistant as well as being involved in the coordination of marketing material and various social media platforms.’ 

Katie went on to say, ‘We are now mid-way through her 10-week Internship her at C2events, we are really impressed how Shirley has fitted into the team.’
